Thanks for your suggestions!

Unfortunately, there is no way for third-party iPhone apps to sync their data through iTunes (even though iTunes does back up all user data when it syncs.) However, Consistency for iPhone will have a "WiFi Sync" function that will enable you to upload and download your Consistency files via your web browser.
32  Sciral / Sciral Consistency Feature Requests / Re: Caret under Task Start Date should default to day field on: December 02, 2008, 03:36:02 PM
When I'm adding a new task and looking at the Task Start Date, I think the up/down arrows should change the date by one day.

Currently, the caret is under the month, so if you click the up arrow, it changes the month instead of the day.

Are you suggesting that the caret start out under the "day" part of the date control instead of the "month" part?

I should point out to others you need to be logged in to see the photos here.

Thanks for pointing that out. I fixed it so now even guests can see the attachments.

Yes, it's been a long time. But the app is well underway, and we think you'll like it. Here's a teaser.

Thanks! It's on our list of suggestions.

Another reason we need to do this is to assist color-blind users.

Hint: I have an iPhone. Wink
38  Sciral / Sciral Consistency Q&A / Re: Extracting due tasks with an external program on: June 20, 2008, 10:31:17 AM
Sorry, there's currently no easy, automated way to do what you're asking. From a manual perspective, you can have Consistency sort the tasks by Due Date, then select the due tasks and use the Copy command to copy the text of the task names and paste it into another application.

Although the format of DayData is undocumented, it's just a Base64 encoded array of four-byte integers, where each day is represented by one of those integers. If you really wanted to, it shouldn't be too difficult to figure out which bit represents "completion," although the calculation of due date depends on additional factors such as which target range is currently in effect.

AppleScript support is on our radar. When people like you inquire, it does affect how we prioritize.
39  Sciral / Sciral Consistency Q&A / Re: Persistant Sorting on: June 05, 2008, 09:03:12 PM
Currently the best way to accomplish this is to make the changes you want and then resort by priority order. There are keyboard shortcuts for all the sort commands.

Thanks for mentioning that!

42  Sciral / Sciral Consistency Feature Requests / Re: Methodology of calendar intergration on: November 16, 2007, 06:37:24 PM
Thanks for your thoughtful suggestions. I will definitely consider some kind of Consistency/calendar integration, although as you point out Consistency was designed for tasks that calendars never were, so there is quite an "impedance mismatch" there to be overcome.

OK, it's done! Smiley

We have just released minor updates to both the Mac and Windows versions of Sciral Consistency. For the details, see the version history page:

We'll look into the fonts issue under Windows.

With regard to the product price, please understand that Consistency has never been a significant source of income for us. Furthermore, I doubt that dropping its price will significantly increase sales— it is just too niche-y. So we keep the price as is, and expect that the people who find it useful will also realize that products with a small market must charge a little more to justify their existence.

Also, due to our arrangements with the programmers, Mac Consistency and Windows Consistency are separate products, and are sold separately. We regret the inconvenience.
