A feature I'd find really helpful is to hide tasks that aren't presently due. Generally, if it's not something that is due, I don't even want to see it or look at it; I only want to see what I'm supposed to be doing now. That'd help me a lot with focusing my to-do list.

I second this feature.  I'd like to be able to:

-hide all tasks not yet due
-show ONLY tasks that are due (green zone)
-show ONLY tasks that are soon to be overdue (yellow zone)
